Our HEPA Air Filtration units are designed to capture smoke, particulates, fumes and VOCs released during thermal cleaning, extrusion and injection-moulding processes. These systems enhance air quality and ensure a safe, clean and compliant working environment.

Fluidized Bath 

Shown here is a short video demonstrating the FTBSL6 fluidized bath in operation.
This model is widely used for:

Accuthermal Fluidized Temperature Baths

Fluidized bath technology has been used for more than fifty years across a wide range of industrial processes. The system consists of a tank or inner vessel with an air chamber at the bottom and a porous plate at the top. The tank is filled with aluminium oxide, and filtered, compressed air is introduced through the air chamber.

As the air flows upward, bubbles rise through the media, agitating the heated aluminium oxide and keeping it in constant motion. This airflow creates liquid-like behaviour within the medium, enabling exceptionally uniform and efficient heat transfer to any immersed component.

The aluminium oxide supplied by Accurate Thermal Systems is non-corrosive, inert and safe to use. With a particle size of 120 grit, it does not adhere to components, and any organic material is thermally decomposed during processing. A fluidized bath is not a grit-blasting or media-blasting system; the aluminium oxide does not cause wear or abrasion on parts.
